There was also a battle held at Sarangpur in which Rajput king Rana Kumbha of Mewar attacked Malwa sultan Mahmud Khalji who was joined by Ahmed Shah, the sultan of Gujarat, leading to Rajput victory over the Malwa Sultanate.
