Hispanics or Latinos of any race were 8.11% of the population. In 2000, of the 542 households, 39.1% had children under 18 living with them, 55.4% were married couples living together, 14.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.0% were not families. About 17.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 5.2% had someone living alone who was 65 or older. The average household size was 2.80 and the average family size was 3.07. In 2000, the age distribution was 29.8% under 18, 7.4% from 18 to 24, 32.4% from 25 to 44, 19.9% from 45 to 64, and 10.6% who were 65 or older. The median age was 34 years.
