, into a family where no one pursued the arts. She studied at , then graduated with a degree in Law from . She became interested in music at the age of 3. Because her father forbade her to become a singer, she only sang on school stages and at the Pioneers Palace.


Career


2015–2018: Participated in The Voice of Vietnam season 3, became famous for "Hôm nay tôi buồn"

She became known after participating in the third season of

and was chosen by all four coaches. She was eliminated during Live show 7 of the competition. Her first composition is the song "One side love", written in early 2017 about a cute budding love story. This was released but did not make much of an impression. She released the single "Hôm nay tôi buồn" in early 2018. With this song, Phùng Khánh Linh received nominations at big music awards, including Song of the Year and New Artist of the Year at the 2019
