As an MP, he kept a rather low profile, although he was widely criticized by Slovak academics for attempting to reform accreditation in a way that would lower requirements, a change that would benefit the Danubius University, where he was active at the time. In 2015, Mamojka was nominated by the parliament for the vacant position of a judge at the Constitutional court. The president
