Radić' was born in the Croatian city of

and developed his tennis under the tutelage of famed coach Pato Álvarez in Barcelona, Spain. He later moved to the Veneto region of Italy where he remained based. He was a member of the Croatian team that were runners-up to Spain in the 1998 Junior Davis Cup. Turning professional in 2000, Radić competed mostly on the Challenger circuit, with the occasional main draw appearance on the ATP Tour. His highest ranking, 141 in the world, was attained in 2002.
