Early life and career

Strack-Zimmermann studied journalism, political science and German language and literature at the

Strack-Zimmermann was a member of the Düsseldorf city council from 2004 to 2023. From 2008 until 2014, she served as deputy mayor of Düsseldorf, alongside mayor
