Biography

Born into an old and influential House of Krasiński, Maria was the only child of Count Count Ludwik Krasinski (1833-1895) and his wife, Magdalena Zawisza-Kierzgaillo (1861-1935). Her art collection was the origin of the Krasinski Museum.
