Sasscer married Agnes Goffren in 1919 and had three children, Agnes Lansdale "Dolly" Sasscer, Lucy Claggett Sasscer and
Lansdale Ghiselin Sasscer, Jr.
Sasscer was a resident of Upper Marlboro until his death there in 1964.
