In the years 2013–2018, he was a research assistant in the Department of Music History of the Institute of Ethnology of the Czech Academy of Sciences, 2018–2022 in the Biographical Archive of the Institute for Czech Literature of the CAS, and 2022–2024 in the National Heritage Institute. Since 2021, he externally cooperates with the music archive of the National Theater Prague and from 2024 he works in the Library of the Czech Academy of Sciences. He is also a member of the Association of Historians of the Czech Republic. His research focuses mainly on the history of the late Middle Ages and the early modern period, the Reformation, music history and publishing activities. From 2005 to 2009 he taught at the Conservatory in Teplice. Since 2014, he has been leading the recorder class at the Jan Deyl Conservatory in Prague. In 2019, he was awarded by the Křesadlo award for 2018 by the Hestia Foundation for his charitable work. In 2022, at the 51st Synod of the Old Catholic Church in the Czech Republic, he was elected a member of the Synod Council, where he holds the position of vice-chairman.
