. It has an area of about 35km² and the population in 2017 was 133,206. Currently, it is the largest ward, also one of the most populous ward of the city. Established in 1994, from the separation of two wards Tam Hòa and Phước Tân (the latter ward previously belonged to Long Thành district then). The ward is 7km away to the east from the city center.
