At the 2000 census there were 195 people, 67 households, and 49 families living in the town. The population density was . There were 74 housing units at an average density of . The racial makeup of the town was 91.28% White, 6.67% African American, 0.51% Native American, 0.51% from other races, and 1.03% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.59%. Of the 67 households 40.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 46.3% were married couples living together, 14.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 25.4% were non-families. 20.9% of households were one person and 13.4% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.91 and the average family size was 3.32. The age distribution was 33.8% under the age of 18, 5.6% from 18 to 24, 29.2% from 25 to 44, 14.9% from 45 to 64, and 16.4% 65 or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females, there were 87.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 89.7 males. The median household income was $39,375 and the median family income was $41,563.
