Demographics

Between the 2011 and 2023 censuses in Lezhë, the religious landscape showed some shifts. The Muslim population increased its share from 14.8% to 17.5%, and Bektashism also saw a rise from 0.3% to 0.6%. The Catholic Christian population, which remained the dominant group, increased from 72.3% to 74.4%. Orthodox Christians rose from 0.1% to 0.4%.
