Tiong worked as a Business Analyst at
McKinsey & Co McKinsey & Company (informally McKinsey or McK) is an American multinational strategy and management consulting firm that offers professional services to corporations, governments, and other organizations. Founded in 1926 by James O. McKinsey ...
. (2014–2016), followed by a stint at Millennium Management (2016–2018) as a Quant analyst. Tiong later went on to Brahman Capital (2018–2022) and served as Head Quant Developer and Portfolio Manager. He was the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at a tech startup (2022–2023). Since 2023, he has been the Director of Sensemake.ai, a news intelligence platform.
