The club was founded on the initiative of
Jerzy Witaszek,
Piotr Dropek and
Artur Witkowski on May 28, 2003 under the name Klub Sportowy Wisła-Azoty Puławy, with
Jerzy Witaszek as its president. Since 2003, the team has been part of II. League, from 2004 in the I. League, and from 2005 in the
