History

Women's football in Jordan officially began in 2005 with the establishment of the national team. Despite having a limited pool of players at the time, the team made an immediate impact by winning the inaugural WAFF Women’s Championship that same year. Jordan won all its matches in the tournament, scoring 26 goals and conceding only one, culminating in a 2–1 victory over
