He played a key role when the team was promoted to Division 1 Södra in 2015, as he was the top scorer and named the best attacker of the Västra Götaland division this season, having scored 22 goals and made nine assists. However, the first half of the 2016 season was ruined due to a broken leg. Sjöhage retired after the 2016 season.
