History

Japanische Kampfhörspiele was founded in 1998 by Klaus Nicodem and Christof Kather. Their debut CD was released in 2001 on Blutwurscht Productions. The band then added Daniel and Simon Schaffrath and Marco Bachmann to the line-up for live performances. In 2002, Japanische Kampfhörspiele released ''Die Großstadt Stinkt, Ist Laut Und Septisch''. Simon Schaffrath left the band, and the band stopped playing live. The band focused on song-writing, and in 2003 Bastardized Recordings released the EP ''Fertigmensch''. The band played its first live show in October 2003. In spring 2004 the band went into the studio again to record ''Hardcore Aus Der Ersten Welt''. Japanische Kampfhörspiele continued to record and release their music through various labels, the last being ''Kaputte Nackte Affen'' on Unundeux Records.
