Chart performance

"I Don't Want Your Love" debuted at number 20 and peaked the following week at number 14 in the UK, but did much better in the rest of Europe, especially in Italy where it spent six non-consecutive weeks at number 1, and was the best-selling single of 1988 in that country. It also did very well in the US, reaching number 4 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100, and number 1 on the ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Club Play chart.
