Of the agricultural land, 48.8% is used for growing crops and 28.8% is pastures, while 2.7% is used for orchards or vine crops. The municipality is located in the Muri district on the eastern slope of the ''Lindenberg''. It consists of the villages of Geltwil and Isenbergschwil.
