Education

Greentown lies in the North Canton City School District. The district includes Greentown Intermediate School, serving approximately 500 students in grades 3–5. Greentown Intermediate used to be a high school, but was merged with the North Canton City Schools, when it became an elementary school, followed by an intermediate school. Greentown school closed in 2023. Students in grades 6-8 attend North Canton Middle School, and grades 9-12 are housed in Hoover High School, both in North Canton.
