Geography

Grant County terrain is characterized by continuous waves of east–west oriented rolling hillocks on otherwise flat areas. As a result, the county is dotted with small lakes and reservoirs. According to the US Census Bureau, the county has a total area of , of which is land and (0.9%) is water.
