The current building was designed by
Ödön Lechner and built in 1906–08. The school building was completely renovated in 2008–10.
The Church of St. Elizabeth, commonly known as the
Blue Church, was initially part of the gymnázium, serving as the school chapel. The church was also designed by Lechner.
