At the 2000 census there were 184 people, 80 households, and 52 families in the town. The population density was 35.0/km (90.7/mi²). There were 89 housing units at an average density of 16.9/km (43.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the town was 97.83% White, 1.09% Native American, 1.09% from other races. 2.72% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. Of the 80 households 23.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% were married couples living together, 7.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.0% were non-families. 31.3% of households were one person and 25.0% were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 2.30 and the average family size was 2.81. The age distribution was 21.7% under the age of 18, 11.4% from 18 to 24, 27.2% from 25 to 44, 21.7% from 45 to 64, and 17.9% 65 or older. The median age was 38 years.
