History

Forada was

ted in 1903, and named for Ada Campbell, the founder's wife. A post office was established at Forada in 1904, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1954. on May 30, 2022, an EF2 tornado struck the town severely damaging several homes and buisnesess.
