As of the 2000 census, there were 355 people, 135 households, and 105 families residing in the borough. The population density was . There were 143 housing units at an average density of . The racial makeup of the borough was 99.44% White, 0.28% African American and 0.28% Asian. There were 135 households, out of which 35.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.3% were married couples living together, 12.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 22.2% were non-families. 17.8% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.63 and the average family size was 2.90. In the borough the population was spread out, with 26.5% under the age of 18, 9.9% from 18 to 24, 32.7% from 25 to 44, 20.8% from 45 to 64, and 10.1% who were 65 years of age or older.
