. Once built, the older (current) runway became a taxiway. There was also a new terminal built to replace the current departure and arrival buildings. This project was completed in 2015. The headquarters of Ewa Air are located on the airport property. Cyclone Chido severely damaged the airport in December 2024.

The airport is open from 5 am to 5:30 pm local time. The south tarmac area is reserved for the French military.


Transportation

Travel to and from the airport can be made by car. There is limited parking at the airport, so the preferred travel is by taxi into town (4 km from Dzaoudzi).
