presidential elections. For the 2007 presidential election, it registered under the name the Economic Republican Party before reverting to its original name in 2008. It was repeatedly dissolved and re-registered throughout its history. Huh left the party by 2009, and was replaced as leader by Park Dong-gyu on June 22, 2009. It is now defunct.
