* Public education in Creighton is administered by the Sherwood Cass R-VIII School District, which operates one elementary school, one middle school, and Sherwood High School. All three schools share 1 facility housing roughly 900 students. The school is located on the North side of MO-7 on Marksmen Ln. across from downtown Creighton. * Creighton maintains one USPS full service location as well as a City Hall building for public works and city documents. * The compact, rural hub has been home to a number of small businesses for well over a century. The oldest continually operating business is Sherwood Community Bank, and it was originally incorporated in 1902 as Farmer's & Merchant's (of Creighton).
