The pre-production locomotive DF200-901 was delivered in March 1992 for testing. It has two MTU 12V396TE14 diesel engines. DF200-901 was withdrawn from regular service in fiscal 2023. File:DF200-901 Sapporo Freight Terminal 20121222.jpg, DF200-901 in December 2012
