s. School enrollment was reduced in 2007 with the opening of a new high school on Albuquerque’s west side. Volcano Vista High School opened in the fall of 2007. The following year, in 2008, CHS underwent a massive remodel and expansion of the school. The current enrollment stands at 1,762.
