class referee in January 2009. He began refereeing football matches in 1988, after a year in futsal. In 2001 he played his first game in the Second Division and in 2006 he made his debut in First. In 2009 he became FIFA referee, which allowed him to participate in international matches. Thus, he refereed the Europa League matches and the preparation of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and was an assistant referee in Euro 2012 and the Champions League.
