The station signed on in 1980. Although separately licensed, for all intents and purposes it was a rebroadcaster of

Hosted by Mark Szyszlo for most of its history, his departure left the program on hiatus, with the station instead simulcasting local programming from CBW Winnipeg, until Ramraajh Sharvendiran was named its new host in October 2018.
