History

The first written mention of Běleč is from 1375. History of the village is connected with the Šelmberk Castle, which was founded here at the beginning of the 14th century.

Sights

The most important monument is the ruin of the Šelmberk Castle. The castle was founded before 1318. In the 16th century, it was rebuilt in the Renaissance style.
