Filming eventually began in January 2022, with Cowell making his return as a judge for the programme following his accident during the previous series. The fifteenth series was won by stand-up comedian Axel Blake, with ventriloquist Jamie Leahey finishing in second place, and singer Tom Ball placing third. During its broadcast, the series averaged around 6.38 million viewers.
