Rogaland Municipal Cultural Award in 2013. In 2011, Østin Ommundsen directed the third film in the film trilogy about
Anne-Cath. Vestly's characters Lillebror and Knerten, ''
Knerten i knipe''. This was his debut as a director of a children's film.
