Founded in 1967 under the leadership of the then Finance Manager as Ardeşen Belediyespor won the provincial championship as a district team for the first time in the Rize Amateur League in 1988. In the same year, its youth team also won the 3rd place in Turkey.Professional era

The club became champions of the Rize 1st Amateur League in the 2010-2011 season, won the match against İyiderespor 7-6 on penalties to be promoted to the Regional Amateur League, and started competing in the Regional Amateur League for the first time in its history in the 2011-2012 season. However, they lost to Çayelispor 3-1 in the play-out match at the end of the same season and were relegated back to the Rize 1st Amateur League. The club became champions of the Rize 1st Amateur League again at the end of the 2013-2014 season, and started competing in the Regional Amateur League as of the 2014-2015 season by winning the match against Kalkanderespor 7-6 on penalties in a match that ended 0-0 in regular time.References
