History

Founded in 1967 under the leadership of the then Finance Manager as Ardeşen Belediyespor won the provincial championship as a district team for the first time in the Rize Amateur League in 1988. In the same year, its youth team also won the 3rd place in Turkey.


Professional era

However, one season later, it was relegated to the amateur league by coming in last place in the 3rd League 2nd Group. After changing its name to Ardeşenspor, Ardeşenspor, which competed in the amateur leagues until 1998, was promoted to the 3rd League again in the 1998-1999 season. The club was relegated to the amateur league again by coming in last place in the 3rd League 2nd Group at the end of the season.


Amateur era

The club became champions of the Rize 1st Amateur League in the 2010-2011 season, won the match against İyiderespor 7-6 on penalties to be promoted to the Regional Amateur League, and started competing in the Regional Amateur League for the first time in its history in the 2011-2012 season. However, they lost to Çayelispor 3-1 in the play-out match at the end of the same season and were relegated back to the Rize 1st Amateur League. The club became champions of the Rize 1st Amateur League again at the end of the 2013-2014 season, and started competing in the Regional Amateur League as of the 2014-2015 season by winning the match against Kalkanderespor 7-6 on penalties in a match that ended 0-0 in regular time.
