The next election is scheduled for 2027. The approved town budget for the fiscal year 2024-25 was $12,836,706.61. Andover is a part of District 55 for the Connecticut House of Representatives. It has been represented by Republican Steve Weir since 2023. In the Connecticut State Senate, Andover is a part of District 4, represented by Democrat MD Rahman since 2023. At the federal level, Andover is located in Connecticut's 2nd Congressional District, which has been represented by Democrat Joe Courtney since 2007.
