Career

Wiesböck was winner of the Individual Speedway Long Track World Championship in 1979. He was also four times West German Longtrack champion in 1974, 1976, 1978 and 1981. He rode in Great Britain during the 1979 British League season as a rider for the Reading Racers but only rode in two matches. Wiesböck rode in the final of the 1981 and 1982 World Team Cup.
