After many years in the youth system Sørloth was rewarded with a contract by Rosenborg in July 2013. He played his first professional game for Rosenborg when he was subbed on in the second half of the

Bodø/Glimt before the start of the 2015 Tippeligaen. In the league he scored 13 goals and making five assist in his 26 appearances (19 starters), including scoring six goals in one game against
