New Serbia subsequently ended its alliance with the DSS and became part of the coalition around the Serbian Progressive Party (''Srpska napredna stranka'', SNS). In an unrelated development, Serbia reformed its electoral laws in 2011 such that mandates were awarded to candidates on successful lists in numerical order. Ilić did not seek re-election at the republic level in 2012, but she was given the twelfth position on the SNS's list for the Voždovac municipal assembly in the 2013 local elections. The list won a majority victory with thirty-six out of fifty-five mandates; Ilić was elected and served for the next three years. She was not a candidate for re-election in 2016. Ilić married
