Personal life

Aleksander Ivić married Milika Avramov in 1976. They divorced in 1990. From his first marriage, he became the father of two daughters, Natalija (born 1980) and Emilija (born 1984). His second marriage was to Sanda Rašković Ivić, whom he married in 1996. They became the parents of a daughter and two sons. Their younger son Jovan (1997–2022) committed suicide. Ivić died in Belgrade.
