. The season took place from October to May and was contested by thirteen teams.

Format

The regular season consists of 26 rounds, where the thirteen participating teams play each other twice (once home and once away). At the completion of the regular season, the eight best teams advance to the championship playoffs and the team finishing 13th is relegated to Serie A2.
