season. This was head coach Tim Carter's 9th season at UTSA. They played their home games at the Convocation Center. The Roadrunners finished the season 19–14, 11–5 in Southland play to finish in a first place tie. They won the Southland tournament to advance to the NCAA tournament for the first time in five years. Playing as the No. 16 seed in the West region, UTSA was beaten by No. 1 seed
