The municipality is situated on the banks of the Lučina River and on the shore of Žermanice Reservoir, which was built in 1951–1957, but lies just outside the municipal territory. ''Žermanický lom'' is a large wetland ecosystem protected as a nature monument, where several species of critically endangered plants grow.
