History

Ōmekaidō Station opened on April 6, 1928, when the track between and , via was opened, which is now part of the Seibu Tamako Line. Station numbering was introduced on all Seibu Railway lines during fiscal 2012, with Ōmekaidō Station becoming "ST03".
