The film is based on an original screenplay by Hugh Leonard and Tim Hayes. Young Edwina Broome, an English war widow, moves into "Widows' Peak" in an Irish village and soon has a conflict with spinster Miss Katherine O'Hare which soon escalates, leaving the town in an uproar. Plot In the 1920s, English war widow Mrs. Edwina Broome moves to the Irish village of Kilshannon, into the exclusive enclave derisively called "Widows' Peak" by the locals. Mrs. Doyle-Counihan, widowed twice, upholds with an iron will the rental terms for the property under her control—left to her by her deceased husband—as well as maintaining a tight grip on her adult son, Godfrey. The Widows Peak (song)
''The Shade of Poison Trees'' is the fifth studio album recorded by the band Dashboard Confessional. Production and composition ''The Shade of Poison Trees'' had been recorded over 10 days in Florida with producer Don Gilmore and engineer Mark Kiczula. Recording took place at Bieler Brothers Studio with assistant engineer Matt LaPlant, and at The Dungeon with assistant engineer Joe Williams. Gilmore mixed the recordings with help from Kiczula, at Bieler Brothers Studio. George Marino mastered the recordings at Sterling Sound. ''The Shade of Poison Trees'' is heralded as a return to form, so to speak, breaking away from the electric, full band sound of their previous two albums and returning to the acoustic sound that Carrabba was previously known for. However, the album is unmistakably more mature, as the songs sound similar to their more recent work, yet without the heavily produced style. Release On August 16, 2007, ''The Shade of Poison Trees'' was announced for release, and ... [...More Info...]       [...Related Items...]     OR:     [Wikipedia]   [Google]   [Baidu]   |

One type of neckbreaker involves the wrestler slamming an opponent's neck against a part of the wrestler's body, usually the knee, head or shoulder. From here, the attacking wrestler throws the legs of the opponent out backwards and drops down to the mat while holding onto the opponent's head, dragging the opponent down with them to drive their back into the grou ...
