Vin Scully
Vincent Edward Scully (November 29, 1927 – August 2, 2022) was an American sportscaster. He was best known for his 67 seasons calling games for Major League Baseball's Los Angeles Dodgers, beginning in 1950 (when the franchise was located in Brooklyn) and ending in 2016. Scully's tenure with the Dodgers was the longest of any broadcaster with a single team in professional sports history, and he was second only to Tommy Lasorda (by two years) in terms of number of years associated with the Dodgers organization in any capacity. He retired at age 88 in 2016, ending his record-breaking run as the team's play-by-play announcer. Vin Baston
Vincent Baston (5 August 1919 – 4 June 1963) was an Irish hurler. At club level he played for Passage in Waterford and Army in Galway and was centre-back on the Waterford senior hurling team that won the 1948 All-Ireland Championship. After beginning his club career with the Passage junior team, with whom he won a Waterford Junior Championship medal, Baston subsequently won two Galway Senior Championship medals with the Army club in 1947 and 1948. Vincent Lamont Baker (born November 23, 1971) is an American former professional basketball player who played in the National Basketball Association (NBA). John Vincent Weber (born July 24, 1952) is an American politician, lobbyist and former Republican Congressman from Minnesota. Early life and education Weber was born in Slayton, Minnesota. He attended the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities from 1970 to 1974. Career Weber was press secretary to Representative Tom Hagedorn from 1974 to 1975 and a senior aide to Senator Rudy Boschwitz from 1977 to 1980. He had been the co-publisher of Murray County newspaper from 1976 to 1978 and the president of Weber Publishing Company. Vincent Paul Garbutt (20 November 1947 – 6 June 2017) was an English folk singer and songwriter.
