Tilt is an American punk rock band from the East Bay, California, formed in 1992. The group's debut studio album, '' Play Cell'', was released through Lookout Records in 1993. They would soon after get signed to Fat Wreck Chords, which the rest of its albums were released through. Tilt–shift photography is the use of camera movements that change the orientation or position of the lens with respect to the film or image sensor on cameras. Sometimes the term is used when a shallow depth of field is simulated with digital post-processing; the name may derive from a perspective control lens (or tilt–shift lens) normally required when the effect is produced optically. "Tilt–shift" encompasses two different types of movements: rotation of the lens plane relative to the image plane, called ''tilt'', and movement of the lens parallel to the image plane, called ''shift''. In optics, tilt is a deviation in the direction a beam of light propagates. Overview Tilt quantifies the average slope in both the X and Y directions of a wavefront or phase profile across the pupil of an optical system. Tilt was an alcoholic beverage launched by Anheuser-Busch in the United States in August 2005. It was sold in 16 and 24 fluid ounce cans. Its alcoholic content by volume varied. In 16oz cans, it ranged from 4-6.6% depending on state laws. In 24oz cans, its alcoholic content by volume was originally 12%, but was later lowered to 8% in 2010. The drink was reformulated in 2008. History Tilt was introduced as an energy drink containing alcohol, and marketed as a "Premium Malt Beverage". The original formulation's active ingredients included caffeine, ginseng and guaraná. In 2008, a reformulated Tilt was launched with only caffeine. Budweiser changed the formulation for similar reasons to Miller Brewing Company, manufacturer of Sparks. Luke Graham Tilt (born 18 June 1988) is an English former professional footballer, who played as a goalkeeper. He played for Walsall and only made one first team appearance for Walsall at Brentford on 4 February 2006. Tilt is a poker term for a state of mental or emotional confusion or frustration in which a player adopts a suboptimal strategy, usually resulting in the player becoming overly aggression, aggressive. Tilting is closely associated with another poker term, "Steam (poker), steam". Placing an opponent on tilt or dealing with being on tilt oneself is an important aspect of poker. It is a relatively frequent occurrence due to frustration, animosity against other players, or simply bad luck. The term originated from pinball where physically tilting the machine causes some games to flash the word "TILT" and freeze the flippers. Tilt is also common in other games, especially chess and esports. Tilting in esports causes players to "lose control due to anger".
