Temporal Scales
In reptiles, the temporal scales are located on the side of the head between the parietal scales and the supralabial scales, and behind the postocular scales.U.S. Navy. 1991. Reptile
Reptiles, as commonly defined, are a group of tetrapods with an ectothermic metabolism and Amniotic egg, amniotic development. Parietal scales are the scales of a snake located on the snake's head and are connected to the frontals towards the posterior.
