TBD (TV Network)
Roar (formerly TBD.) is an American digital multicast television network owned by the Sinclair Television Group subsidiary of Sinclair Broadcast Group. From its launch in 2016 the channel focused on millennials with short-form viral video content and reality programming, but eventually shifted towards traditional :30/:60 minute-long sketch comedy and other comedic-focused programming underserved in the digital subchannel space. With the acquisition of repeats of ''Saturday Night Live'' in the fall of 2024, the network rebranded to Roar on April 28, 2025, to complete its transition towards comedic content. Background The development of TBD is traced to a visit by Sinclair Broadcast Group management to the Santa Monica, California, headquarters of the Tennis Channel in January 2016, as it began to close on acquiring the network. While touring Tennis Channel's master control, main control room, company executives spotted a monitor carrying the foreign feed of The QYOU, a Dublin-base ...

Douglas TBD Devastator
The Douglas TBD Devastator is a retired American torpedo bomber of the United States Navy. Ordered in 1934, it first flew in 1935 and entered service in 1937. At that point, it was the most advanced aircraft flying for the Navy, being the first metal monoplane in the United States Navy; however, by the time of the US entry into World War 2, the TBD was already outdated. The Devastator performed well early in the war, most notably in the Battle of the Coral Sea, but earned infamy for a catastrophic performance during the Battle of Midway in which 41 Devastators recorded zero torpedo hits with only six surviving to return to their carriers. Although much of the Devastator's dismal performance was later attributed to the many well-documented defects in the US Mark 13 torpedo, the aircraft was withdrawn from frontline service after Midway, being replaced by the Grumman TBF Avenger. Design and development The Douglas XTBD-1 was ordered on 30 June 1934 after being one of th ...

TBD Records
TBD Records (previously Side One Recordings) was an American record label co-founded by Coran Capshaw and Phil Costello, and is a sublabel of ATO Records, distributed by RED Distribution. The label was founded in August 2007 and quickly announced its first release, the band Underworld's first studio album in five years, '' Oblivion with Bells''. Side One Recordings gained attention when it was connected with the CD release of Radiohead's 2007 album '' In Rainbows'' in the United States and Canada. In 2008 they signed the British band Hatcham Social, releasing their debut album ''You Dig The Tunnel I'll Hide The Soil'' in June 2009. Name change from Side One Recordings Due to legal issues with a similarly named operator in the U.S., Side One Recordings was forced to change its name. This brought Underworld and Radiohead under the same newly named label. According to the TBD Records website, "The original name for this record company was Side One Recordings. But some potential i ...
